NGA is completely free because we believe a basic anchor alarm should be part of the kit, not another subscription quietly waiting for bad timing.
Location and history stay on device unless remote watch is enabled. Remote watch is off by default and uses the user's private iCloud database.
There is no third-party server. Pelagic Labs cannot read a user's private CloudKit database.
