By downloading, installing, or using Freyja (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. License Grant
Freyja is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your device for personal, non-commercial wellness purposes.
3. Wellness Disclaimer
The App is not medical advice.
Freyja is a wellness companion and educational tool designed to help you track personal wellness data and explore wellness patterns. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Freyja does not provide fertility guidance, reproductive health diagnoses, or clinical assessments of any kind.
Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions or changes based on information in the App. If you have any health concerns, please speak with a doctor.
4. Subscription Terms
Auto-Renewal
Freyja offers optional premium features via auto-renewing subscriptions:
- Monthly: $3.99/month
- Annual: $24.99/year
Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store’s subscription management page on your device:
- Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Freyja → Manage
No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods. Your premium access ends at the close of the current billing period, but you retain access to your health data — no data is deleted.
No Warranty on Premium Features
Premium features are provided “as-is” without warranty. We do not guarantee that insights, correlations, or predictions will be accurate, actionable, or applicable to your specific health situation.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful wellness tracking purposes
- Not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the App
- Not use the App to harm, harass, or threaten others
- Provide accurate personal information if requested
- Accept responsibility for managing your own health decisions
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freyja and its creators are not liable for:
- Inaccurate health insights, correlations, or predictions
- Loss of health data (though we use encryption and on-device storage best practices)
- Decisions you make based on App information
- HealthKit integration issues or data loss
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
7. Data & Privacy
Your health data is private and remains on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, HealthKit integration, and your rights.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including all text, graphics, logos, and code, is owned by Pelagiclabs and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without permission.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these terms. Termination does not affect your ownership of your health data, which remains on your device.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, where Pelagiclabs is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
